This is a slow-paced meditative asana practice, in which postures are held for a longer period of time. The aim of this style of yoga is to improve flexibility by placing moderate stress to the body’s connective tissues and to appreciate inner silence for a deeper state of relaxation. This is a great practice to balance the more vigorous approach to yoga postures. It is available to all levels of practitioners and does not require any previous experience. Be prepared for a longer Shavasana and for a few minutes of inner silence – meditation.
Classes are three 60-minute online private (1:1) sessions per week for eight weeks via Facebook or Facetime, or WhatsApp, by your preference. The sessions can be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday or other days as long as you join three days a week. In case of rescheduling or canceling, a minimum of 24 hours should be given or the class will be charged.
