At Omsampoornyoga we believe that yoga as well as music are deeply practical and transformative, as they can bring about a heightened awareness and quality of living experience in each individual. Hence, we also offer “Union Through Sound” retreats, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the yoga of sound -Nada Yoga- and experience a deeper connection to your higher Self.
The music portion of these retreats – available from 3 to 28 days- are led by Hari Das & Maheshwari, who have been sharing their passion for music and kirtan chanting for over 20 years. The aim of their teachings is to allow those in their presence to settle into the calmness and peace of their own being and reconnect with their own essential Self.
Hari Das & Maheshwari teach spontaneously according to what is appropriate in each moment drawing on the best of their experiences of many paths of yoga/ meditation/ music, and satsang.
Both Hari Das & Maheshwari feel strongly that the possibility of freedom and liberation for each student should be alive in every moment in the class setting as well as in day-to-day life.

Our Accommodation
Our retreats take place at Yoga Niketan Ashram, in the heart of Rishikesh. Single and double accommodation available.
Our Food
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are offered daily at the ashram. Meals are nutritious, vegetarian, and yogic. Enjoy afternoon tea. During excursion days meals will be provided at local restaurants.
