During your retreat you will be accommodated at the Yoga Niketan Ashram. You will stay in an Ashram style single, clean, and safe room with private bathroom and a fan-double room available upon request. During the hot season A/C rooms are offered. You will also find a desk, chair, and an armoir, a little porch or balcony to relax or read your favorite book. Towels, soap, and toilet paper are provided. All rooms are simple, yet quaint and immersed in a lush greenery. The yoga studio -fully equipped with mats, block, straps, and bolsters – is walking distance from each accommodation.

Retreat Excursions
Go on excursions with Yogi Vimal -a local of Rishikesh who lived in a cave alone for a year and knows all the spots only babas are aware of. Yogi Vimal and his team will take you to the Himalayas to enjoy sunrise meditation, visit temples and sacred caves, to participate in Indian traditional ceremonies -such as puja and aarti by the holy river Ganga – and to partake in kirtan.

Yogic Meals
Yoga Niketan Ashram serves a vegetarian menu in keeping with yoga practice. The food is ample, tasty, mostly organic, and prepared on the premises. Enjoy Indian typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner together with water and tea.

Book your Flight
Book your flight to arrive at Dehradoon ( DED) airport. Rishikesh is about 40 minutes by car from there. Pick-up & drop off is available upon request. Please let us know if you will be needing one. We will meet you at the Ashram.
Book your Train
It is a five hour trip on Shatabdi Express from New Delhi railway station to Haridwar. You can then take a taxi from Haridwar to Rishikesh (1 hour). We will meet you at the Ashram.
